The Charlotte Bobcats were looking forward to one thing: Anthony Davis. With that dream now dashed with the New Orleans Hornets winning the lottery, they are getting desperate to have fans commit to them without Davis. It's starting to get sad for the Bobcats organization.
They are now offering $8 season-tickets along with even the "buy one get one free" season-ticket packages. The Bobcats are also offering many more benefits as seen in the photo above.
It seems like the fans have given up hope on the team and the Bobcats are trying to give them such a cheap ticket offer that people will have to take the bait on it. If no one stills wants to come after these ridiculous ticket offers, we might as well start the "Save The Charlotte Bobcats Campaign."
Even though the team has a nice young nucleus in Kemba Walker, Bismack Biyombo, Gerald Henderson, and D.J. Augustin, it seems like the fans wouldn't commit without Davis in a Bobcats uniform on opening night.
Without Davis, the Bobcats are on life support by just throwing tickets out to try to get butts in the seats. We'll see if this tactic works for Michael Jordan and his Unibrow-less team.
Someone--anyone--please help the Bobcats. It seems like they are just throwing tickets out in sorrow of losing the chance of securing the number one pick and drafting Davis.
