San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Cain made history Wednedsay night when he threw a perfect game against the Houston Astros. Cain took over throughout the whole game, having a total of 14 strikeouts on the Astros.
There were a lot of close calls that could have ended Cain's mark at history. Houston's Chris Snyder almost hit a homer, but Melky Cabrera was there to save him. Then Greg Blanco made a crazy, diving catch in the eighth inning to steal Rob Schafer's hit.
