New York Giants head coach wasn't very happy when the New England Patriots grabbed tight end Jake Ballard off of waivers Tuesday.
Ballard was waived to make room for defensive end Rocky Bernard, but the injured tight end was then surprisingly signed by the Pats.
"Discouraged is a minor description," Coughlin told ESPN New York. "Very disappointing. I am not going to have a lot to say about that one, just the fact that we are disappointed. We are very disappointed."
Coughlin was then asked of why Ballard was not kept on the 90-man roster.
"Don't ask me those questions," he responded. "I don't have the answers for you. We are all disappointed. That's all."
Not a good day for Tom.
