Terrell Owens made his return to the NFL, but it didn't last long. As the 38-year-old announced on Twitter, the wide receiver was cut by the Seattle Seahawks Sunday.
NFL teams must make mandatory roster cuts as they go from 90 players to 75 as they must reach the deadline by 4 P.M. ET on Monday.
Owens struggled for the most part in his short-lived team with Seattle. He never really changed much of his ways, still acting like the diva he has been.
As for his performance on-the-field, it wasn't so great to watch either. Owens only caught one pass the whole pre-season and made a couple of big drops. Owens was competing with 29-year-old Braylon Edwards to replace Mike Williams. While Owens struggled, Edwards stepped his game up.
Owens would eventually make his announcement on Twitter:
The question is now: Is T.O. out of chances now? Are him and Chad Johnson done with their NFL careers? We'll find out soon.

I'm no longer a Seahawk. I THANK the organization 4 the opportunity, I'm truly blessed beyond belief. My FAITH is intact & will NOT waiver.
