The Honey Badger is making it's way out of LSU. According to USA Today, Tigers defensive back Tyrann Mathieu was officially dismissed from the team Friday after what is believed to be a fail drug test.
Sources have been saying that it was Mathieu's third failed drug test that has caused him to be off the team. It doesn't seem like it was the first time, though, obviously.
Mathieu was suspended for a game against Auburn last season, which media reports believed to be seen that it was a failed drug test.
Mathieu was known for having a big season with LSU last year, ending up finishing fifth-overall in the Heisman voting.
Sources close to Mathieu say they are already looking for a new team for him for next season. Whatever happens, this definitely hurts his draft stock.
