ESPN/Grantland columnist Bill Simmons knows his basketball. If you honestly haven't even read The Book of Basketball yet, I strongly suggest you go to the bookstore right now and pick up a copy.
According to Jason McIntyre of The Big Lead, Simmons could be added to ESPN's NBA Countdown show crew, as he'll likely replace ESPN the Magazine reporter Chris Broussard.
McIntyre writes that Broussard will instead be placed into a different role, which will most likely be a "news" guy of some sorts.
It looks people are tired of Broussard and "his sources" and want a more fun character added to the crew. Simmons would fit perfectly and would give fans a better reason to watch it and stay tuned. He's being strongly considered, I say they do it.
