New York Giants big-play wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will not play in Thursday night's game against the Carolina Panthers.

"WR Hakeem Nicks has been downgraded to out and will not play vs. the Panthers. Nicks did not make the trip," the team tweeted.

Hicks has 14 catches for 237 yards and one touchdown so far on the season.
