Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas Says He Was Embarrassed With Portrayal On "Hard Knocks"

Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas had trouble keeping up with time, at least according to what he did on Hard Knocks this season.

Thomas was caught showing up late to a workout and a team flight, which caused him to be given a lecture by head coach Joe Philbin.

Thomas says it was embarrassing being on the TV show, as he says he has never gotten in trouble before.

“Everybody saw it. People started texting me. I told my mom, ‘If you see me on Hard Knocks, don’t be surprised.’ You don’t want to give them a reason to get rid of you,” Thomas told the Miami Herald.

Thomas, a second-year-pro, was never cut but he does need to know when to come on time. He is expected to be helping a lot with Miami's run-game this season with fellow running back, Reggie Bush.
