Notre Dame Will Join the ACC in All-Sports Except Football, Hockey

Notre Dame will join the the Atlantic Coast Conference as a full member with the exception of football, according to multiple reports.

Notre Dame will play five football games annually vs. ACC, though. The Fighting Irish currently an independent in football and a member of the Big East in basketball.

The ACC announced that the exit fee will be $50 million. Notre Dame can leave the Big East in 2015 without penalty.
