The company Old Navy isn't exactly known for their NFL expertise and clothing. Old Navy tried to get some more customers by starting an NFL collection of every team and the championships they won, and boy did they just fail big time.
According to this shirt on the left here, they claim that the Houston Texans won the 1961 AFC Championship. The Texans didn't come into the NFL until 2002.
They mistaken the Texans for the Houston Oilers, who won the 1961 AFL Championship, not the AFC since it didn't even exist that time. And anyways, the Oilers are now the Tennessee Titans.
However, it was not the only shirt they messed up on. They must have had real trouble with the AFC and NFC ordeal, saying that the Cleveland Browns where 1964 NFC Champions and the Detroit Lions were also in 1957.
They even said the 1969 Kansas City Chiefs and 1968 New York Jets were NFL champions, but they weren't part of the league at the time. With that, most of their shirts or historically incorrect.
So basically, don't even buy these shirts, unless if you want to look like a major fool.
