The Memphis Grizzlies
traded Wayne Ellington, Marreese Speights and
Josh Selby to the Cleveland Cavaliers, leaving them with two roster spots under the league-minimum. According to a report from
Chris Vernon, more moves are coming, as the Memphis is looking to acquire
Sasha Vujacic, Delonte West and
Bill Walker.
West was let go by the Dallas Mavericks right before the start of the season to make room for
Eddy Curry. The move was made more due to the bad behavior by West, especially off-the-court.
Vujacic last played in the NBA in the 2010-2011 season with the Nets, who were then still in New Jersey at the time. He’s been playing basketball in Turkey for the team
Anadolu Efes with former teammate
Jordan Farmar.
Walker was let go by the Knicks last April when New York decided to sign
Dan Gadzuric for the playoffs.
