Washington Wizards 120, Orlando Magic 91

Wizards Bobcats 2013

The Wizards shot 56-percent from-the-field and they led from end-to-end against the Magic. They outscored Orlando by 13 in the second quarter and it was never close after that. John Wall scored 12 points and also dished out six assists in just 20 minutes in his second game back in the NBA.

Boston Celtics 100, Charlotte Bobcats 89

Celtics Bobcats 2013

The Celtics beat the Bobcats to win their sixth straight. Rajon Rondo lead Boston with a triple-double, getting 17 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. This accounts for his third triple-double of the season, including the 26th for his career. Doc Rivers’ team started the game on a 13-2 run and the Bobcats were never a threat.

Chicago Bulls 97, Atlanta Hawks 58

Bulls Hawks 2013

Atlanta scored 20 points in the first half, which was one shy of the league record for fewest points scored in the first half of any NBA team ever in a game. They only had five of those come in the second quarter.

The Bull lead went as high as 44 points; they finished winning by 39 points. The Hawks have lost five straight on the road and now six-of-seven overall. This loss might be the hardest-hitting.

Los Angeles Clippers 99, Memphis Grizzlies 73

Eric Bledsoe January 2013

No Chris Paul? It was no problem for the Clippers. With Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes each scoring 16 and the Clippers bench outscoring the Grizzlies bench 54-26, Memphis had no chance.

Rudy Gay missed the game for the Grizzlies, however getting outscored by the opposing bench and shooting 30.3-percent as a whole won’t help them.

Dallas Mavericks 113, Minnesota Timberwolves 98

Mavs 2013

J.J Barea’s first appearance at the American Airlines Arena since he won a championship with the team in 2011 was a successful one for him, but just not for his team. Barea scored 21 points and five assists in his return to Dallas.

Elton Brand and O.J. Mayo each scored 20. The Mavericks lead the first three quarters (26-19, 29-26, 36-25), with the final period being garbage time for Dallas, who have now won three games in a row.

Utah Jazz 104, Miami Heat 97

Heat Jazz 2013

The Heat were down by as many as 18 points in the fourth quarter but they came back all the way to be within two. Luckily for the Jazz, Gordon Hayward ended South Beach's chances with a clutch jumper with 40 seconds left to play. Dwyane Wade was benched the whole fourth quarter. Chris Bosh grabbed just only one rebound in 27 minutes of playing time.

Oklahoma City Thunder 102, Phoenix Suns 92

Kevin Durant January 2013

Russell Westbrook shot 14-of-24 from the field, getting 35 points. His teammate Kevin Durant didn’t do so bad either, as he shot 15-of-30 from the field for 41 points.

The dominating, young NBA tandem dominated the Suns, with Durant scoring 19 of his 41 points in the fourth quarter and Westbrook scoring 16 in the first half and 19 in the second. The Thunder have won their fourth game in a row, as they're the first team in the NBA this season to reach 30 wins.

Sacramento Kings 124, Cleveland Cavaliers 118

Kings Cavs 2013

The Cavs and Kings had a shootout last night that was won by Sacramento, who had DeMarcus Cousins dominating the inside with 26 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. For the Cavs, rookie Dion Waiters had a career-high 33 points.
