Sacramento Kings 97, Charlotte Bobcats 93
With the Bobcats down three, Kemba Walker attempted a shot from behind-the-arc with six seconds to go, but it ended up being an airball. The Bobcats have now lost their 14th straight games at home. DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.
San Antonio Spurs 98, Atlanta Hawks 93
Even without Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, the Spurs found a way to end their three-game road losing-streak. Tony Parker took over the fourth quarter, scoring 10 points in the period, answering back every Hawks' move.
Atlanta, who have lost guard Devin Harris with an injury and announced Lou Williams will be out for the season, are now 2-8 for their past 10 games.
Memphis Grizzlies 85, Chicago Bulls 82 (OT)
The Bulls, who had played two straight overtime games, were forced to play another one after Nate Robinson missed a three-pointer that would have gotten them the win. In the extra period, the Grizzlies frontcourt led by Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph dominated the paint, scoring seven out of Memphis' nine points. The Grizzlies have now won two straight.
Golden State Warriors 116, New Orleans Hornets 112
Eric Gordon scored 23 points while Anthony Davis had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Greivis Vasquez dished 14 assists, but all of that still wasn’t enough to beat Jarrett Jack and the Warriors.
Jack sure played with a chip on his shoulder against his former team. He made two free throws that broke the tie, then made the go-ahead jumper and three free throws when all the Hornets could do was foul. Jack ended up having 25 points and 12 assists. Stephen Curry returned to the Warriors after missing two games.
Minnesota Timberwolves 92, Houston Rockets 79
The Rockets sunk to a new low, letting two players who were recently acquire by Minny beat them and getting their seventh straight defeat in the process.
Houston was trailing by four at the end of the third quarter, but then saw the Timberwolves outscore them by nine in the the last period to lose by 13. Minnesota got unexpected help in the fourth by Chris Johnson and Mickael Gelabale, as they both scored the first 23 points of the fourth quarter.
Utah Jazz 109, Cleveland Cavaliers 98
Utah led wire-to-wire, as they extended a five-point halftime to lead to 16 after the third period. Randy Foye had 20 pointsfor the Jazz, as Utah will play 13 of their next 18 games at home. The Cavs lost the game in the third quarter yet again.
Milwaukee Bucks 110, Portland Trail Blazers 104
The Bucks were leading by as much as 22 in the third quarter before the Blazers (seems like they do this every game this season) responded with a huge run that cut the lead to four with 40 seconds left after back-to-back threes from Damian Lillard and Wesley Matthews.
The Blazers had the ball while trailing by four, but a bad pass from Nicolas Batum and free throws from Brandon Jennings ended their chances. Ersan Ilyasova had 27 points and 14 rebounds for the Bucks.
Los Angeles Clippers 94, Washington Wizards 87
Chris Paul returned to the line-up from a bruised right knee cap injury and helped the Clippers get a victory over the Wizards. He made a long three-pointer with three minutes left when Washington was closing in, then a step-back jumper with 35 seconds to put the game away. Paul finished with 22 points and 11 assists.
