James Harden Tony Parker

The reserves for the NBA All-Star teams have now been announced. Take a look:

Western Conference: Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, David Lee, Zach Randolph and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Eastern Conference: Jrue Holiday, Paul George, Tyson Chandler, Kyrie Irving, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng and Chris Bosh.

The starters were announced a week ago by the league:

West:  Dwight Howard, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul.

East: Kevin Garnett, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo.

The 62nd NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Toyota Center, in Houston, Texas. The league got most of the names right, but however...

  • I didn’t expect Lee, Randolph and Aldridge to make it. Two of them were understandable, but not all three.

  • Stephen Curry is absent from the team and should have made it. I do understand the reason why Parker and Westbrook were picked, as both are having excellent years and have a better record than Curry.

  • The NBA is really inconsistent with their selections, as they sometimes focus more on the teams' record. However, not this year as Harden and Aldridge are both get the nod.

  • Bosh over Brook Lopez? Yeah, that was a mistake. Bosh is in there because he’s in Miami and the team is first in the conference. Lopez deserves to be there; he’s one big reason why the Brooklyn Nets are even competitive in the East.

  • Irving’s Cavs are awful, and many can agree he shouldn’t be there, but who else on the East is playing better as a PG? Holiday and Rondo are selected. There’s no one else. Well-deserved.

  • Deng is questionable and people are already wanting David Stern’s head. He, along with Noah, are keeping the Bulls alive and dealing really well with the absence of Derrick Rose.

What do you think of the selections? Who were the most surprising or undeserving? Who were the biggest snubs for this year's team?
