Upper
Metallic upper with a predominately purple color (similar to the Kobe VII "Invisibility Cloak"). The color on the upper changes colors slightly depending on how the light is hitting the sneaker. There is a small 3M panel near the side of the forefoot area and the heel tag is also 3M. The Nike swoosh is bright orange with black crackled plastic above it.
Midsole
The midsole is ultra-cushion Nike Lunarlon and it is light grey with a dark grey speckling throughout.
Outsole
The outsole is ice-blue and features a full herringbone pattern throughout the bottom of the sneaker. Underneath the two sneakers are two variations of Raygun.
Details
3M panels were hit with flash in all photos. They are usually grey when not hit with light. The purple-ish navy upper also has hints of turquoise and maroon blending together to make a Milky Way sort of design. The 3M side panel is very strong and shines very brightly even when dimly lit.
The swoosh provides bright color upon the dark upper, so the sneaker doesn’t look too dull. The heel tag has some sort of webbing design and is fully 3M as well. The front and back of the tongue feature a very tight net material that keeps the tongue supportive and still very flexible. In the insole, there's a Top Secret Area 72 stamp.
Personal Review
I was very surprised with how this sneaker actually looks in person. The upper is ridiculous and definitely helps this shoe make an argument for most underrated of the Area 72 pack.
There was not much wrong with the construction of the sneaker, except that some sneaker glue peeked out from the forefoot 3M panels. The pops of color from the tongue, swoosh and heel tag turn this dull shoe into something very magnificent.
Great sneaker in general!
