Upper
Metallic purple upper with silver 3M speckling throughout. The swoosh is silver and outlined with a crimson red. There are dark purple hyperfuse panels. Under the hyperfuse, you can clearly see the flywire system that helps support the sneaker.
Midsole
This is the first signature Nike sneaker to feature a full-length Nike Zoom unit. There is silver and crimson cracking above the Zoom unit.
Outsole
The outsole is very interesting. At first glance, it looks to be a full crimson rubber, however, depending on the lighting, the rubber shows hints of purple with the crimson. The design of the outsole is the same that appears on every single LeBron X signature sneaker.
Details
3M panels were hit with flash in all photos. The laces feature a crimson and silver combination with crimson tips. The tongue is very flexible and features a LeBron tag similar to those on the other X’s. The sock liner features the galaxy theme and on the inside panel of the tongue, there is a planet which is supposed to represent “LeBron’s planet.”
Review
This shoe was very obnoxious looking to me through pictures, but in person, the colors are absolutely amazing! The 3M speckling is out of this world and I really love the design and feel of these LeBron X’s. The construction of this sneaker is flawless. This slowly is becoming my favorite of this year’s All-Star releases.
