Detroit Pistons guard Will Bynum got suspended one game after hitting Indiana Pacers forward Tyler Hansbrough in the stomach during Saturday’s game, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

The play happened when the Pacers were winning by 20 points with 8:39 left in the game. Hansbrough set a screen to free up D.J Augustin and Bynum didn’t appreciate how the Pacer forward settled it. Bynum was thrown out immediately after his actions.

Bynum was frustrated with his team's play. Losing back-to-back games against the same opponent via blowouts might do that to you, but there’s no excuse to punch anyone no matter how frustrated you are. The suspension will make Bynum miss the Pistons game against the Atlanta Hawks on tonight.

The 30-year-old, in his fifth season with the Pistons, has averaged 9.4 points per game, 3.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per contest.
