The Boston Celtics signed Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract less than two weeks ago. After having played three games with the team, he’s impressed the coaching staff enough to stay for this season and next season as well, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 25-year-old played this season in China with the Guangdong Southern Tigers and previously played in the NBA with the Nets, Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings.
Since losing Jared Sullinger, Rajon Rondo and Leandro Barbosa due to injuries, the Celtics have been picking up players (mostly from the Chinese league) with NBA experience in an attempt to make another run for the playoffs this season.
