The Dallas Cowboys have made two recent moves on the defensive side of the football.

On Wednesday, they signed safety Will Allen, who previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Allen has not recorded an interception since 2005 and has only started nine games in the last six seasons.

The Cowboys also added to their linebacker core by signing former second-round pick Justin Durant.Durant has been reliable, staying healthy and only missing three game in the last two seasons. However, the 27-year-old's production has been dropping.

The Cowboys' 2008 first-round pick Mike Jenkins is currently testing free agency and is unlikely to return to the team. Jenkins last visited the Jacksonville Jaguars.
