Selection Sunday is a day in which many college basketball teams sit and wait to see where and if they will be playing in the NCAA tournament. For James Madison, the news of making it back to the tournament since 1994 came with some bad news.
Senior forward Rayshawn Goins, who played a big part in the Dukes' 70-57 win over Northeastern in the CAA title game, was arrested Sunday. Charges reportedly are for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice.
According to Mark Selig of the Daily News-Record, Goins was released on $2,500 bond. The incident reported was apparently a party that "got out of hand".
As the team's website says,, Goins will be suspended in the first half of the team's tournament game versus Dayton on Wednesday.
