Indiana Pacers 93, Toronto Raptors 81
Roy Hibbert returned to the team after a one-game suspension for getting involved in a pushing match with Golden State Warriors forward David Lee earlier this week. He scored 18 points and also recored two blocks as the Pacers closed the third quarter on a 11- run, led by eight points apiece from Hibbert and David West.
Indiana previously lost two home games against Toronto. Rudy Gay had 21 points for the Raptors, but Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined for just 14 points.
New York Knicks 96, Washington Wizards 88
Rookie Bradley Beal scored a career-high 29 points and 11 rebounds for the Wizards, who despite trailing by a point, failed to make a field goal in the last four minutes of the game, as they lost by eight. Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points for the Knicks, who have won three straight games. J.R. Smith added 13 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.
Houston Rockets 118, Orlando Magic 110
The Rockets used an 11-0 run in the fourth quarter to grabbed a nine-point lead and run away with the victory. James Harden scored 11 of his 24 points in the fourth, while Patrick Beverley added 10. Chandler Parsons and Carlos Delfino had 21-apiece.
Tobias Harris scored a career-high 27 points for Orlando, who played without point guard Jameer Nelson for the fifth straight game.
Boston Celtics 94, Golden State Warriors 86
Stephen Curry wasn’t as nearly as hot as he was on Wednesday. He finished making just 6-of-22 attempts for 25 points. The Celtics dominated from the start and trailed only in the first few minutes of the game. Jeff Green had 14 of his 18 points in the second half and Paul Pierce had 26 points and eight boards.
Los Angeles Clippers 105, Cleveland Cavaliers 89
The Clippers, who were already leading by nine, opened the fourth on a 21-10 run to get a 23-point lead. Jamal Crawford had 24 points and Chris Paul dished 15 assists for their fourth straight win. Cleveland was once again without Kyrie Irving, who has missed the last three games with a sore knee. Rookie Dion Waiters scored 17 points and added six assists.
Miami Heat 98, Memphis Grizzlies 91
LeBron James struggled for most of the night, but delivered the basket that counted the most. James, who was named NBA's Player of the Month for February, hit a three that put the Heat up by four with 24 seconds remaining. Miami’s winning-streak extended to 13 games while Memphis' eight-game winning-streak got snapped. Marc Gasol had 24 points and nine rebounds.
Dallas Mavericks 98, Brooklyn Nets 90
Joe Johnson returned to the Nets line-up after missing three games with a foot injury. He scored 11 points. Brooklyn fell behind by 20 in the fourth quarter before going on a 17-7 run that cut the lead to four, but that was the closest they got. Dirk Nowtizki led Dallas with 20 points and eight rebounds.
New Orleans Hornets 100, Detroit Pistons 95
Greivis Vasquez made a floater off the backboard with 12 seconds remaining to give the Hornets a three-point lead. Rodney Stuckey missed a three-pointer and Al-Farouq Aminu’s two free throws put the game away. Vasquez had 25 points and nine assists. Eric Gordon added 21.
San Antonio Spurs 130, Sacramento Kings 102
The Spurs led from end-to-end and easily beat the Kings. Manu Ginobili had a career game with 15 assists. However, Tony Parker left the game in the third quarter with a sprained left ankle after scoring 13 points and seven assists. Gregg Popovich said Parker was going to “be out for a while.”
Utah Jazz 98, Charlotte Bobcats 68
The Jazz, who played without Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap, didn’t need their frontcourt to beat the Bobcats. Enes Kanter had a career night with 23 points and 22 boards. Utah’s 16-6 run at the start of the second quarter pushed the lead to 20. DeMarre Carroll had a career-high 19 points.
Phoenix Suns 92, Atlanta Hawks 87
After giving the Jazz a rare loss at home, the Hawks lost against a team that was way below .500. The Suns used a 14-1 run at the end of the first half and the start off the second and never lost the lead after that. The Morris brothers, Marcus and Markieff, combined for 27 points and 11 rebounds. The Hawks' winning-streak stopped at four.
Denver Nuggets 105, Oklahoma City 103
Kevin Durant tied the game with a bank shot with 17 seconds left, but Ty Lawson made a jumper over Thabo Sefolosha with o.2 seconds remaining to give the Nuggets the victory. Wilson Chandler tied his career high with 35 points off the bench as the Nuggets reserves outscored the Thunder’s, 71-11. Denver is now 25-3 at the Pepsi center; only the Heat have a better record at home.
