SB Nation[/caption]Quin Blanding has committed to Virginia over Ohio State, according to multiple reports.
The 6-2, 200-pound five-star safety from Bayside High School (Virginia Beach, VA) said last week his finalists were Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Virginia and West Virginia.
As a junior at Bayside High, he finished with 111 tackles and five interceptions as a defensive back and 55 catches for 1,035 yards and six touchdowns as a wide receiver.
Blanding is ranked No. 1 overall at the safety position by Scout.com. UVA has two pledges for 2014.
