Four-star offensive tackle Quenton Nelson has committed to play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, according to multiple reports.The 6-5, 300-pound prospect from Red Bank (NJ) Catholic High chose the Irish over offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Stanford and Wisconsin, among others.
Nelson is ranked No. 8 overall by Scout.com and No. 19 overall by ESPN at the offensive tackle position.
Notre Dame has nine verbals for 2014.
