Another Scarlet Knight basketball player is transferring, and a lot of must know Billy Donovan’s phone number. ESPN New York is reporting that Rutgers guard Eli Carter will transfer to become a member of the Gators.
Carter will be the second Scarlet Knight player to transfer in the past four years. Former McDonald’s All-American Mike Rosario transferred after his sophomore season in 2010.

Carter was granted his release from Rutgers in the wake of the Mike Rice scandal earlier in April. Carter plans to petition the NCAA for immediate eligibility. Carter averaged 14.8 points per game while shooting 38-percent from the floor and 32-percent from three-point range.
