If
Colin Kaepernick wasn’t reshaping how the quarterback position is played for the San Francisco 49ers and the NFL, he might be on the baseball diamond throwing strikes or throwing runners out from center field.
Kaepernick was a two-time all state baseball player in California, and even threw two no-hitters as a senior at Pitman High School.
In the video above, Kaepernick threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Giants-Marlins game on Friday night in San Francisco. Kaepernick, who is an ultra-competitor, put his arm into it and had his first pitch clocked at 87-mph. Pretty impressive throw from a guy selected in the 47th round by the Chicago Cubs.
