The
PJ Hairston saga for the North Carolina Tar Heels may be about to really heat up.
The Big Lead is reporting that the NCAA is investigating the relationship between Hairston and an agent named
Rodney Blackstock.
According to a source, an NCAA investigator reportedly met with a University of North Carolina compliance officer this week regarding the relationship between the Tar Heels returning leading scorer and Blackstock,
If Blackstock’s name sounds familiar, it because he’s the same agent that reportedly
paid the AAU coach of Kansas guard Ben McLemore thousands of dollars to try to sway McLemore to their agency when he turned pro.
Hairston and Blackstock are both from Greensboro, and have known each other for a few years now. The question now is, was Blackstock the man who rented the SUV for Hairston? The NCAA definitely is going to ask.
