Carlos Delfino July 2013According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, Carlos Delfino has decided to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks.

In the first two years of the deal, Delfino will make combined $6.5 million. However, he has a team option for the third year, which would push the contract value upwards to about $10 million.

Delfino, who played his last season with the Houston Rockets, will form a swingman tandem for the Bucks with O.J. Mayo. He will provide scoring for the Bucks, most probably off the bench. Last season, he averaged 10.6 points off 37.5-percent shooting from beyond the arc.

Delfino previously played for the Bucks from 2009 up until 2012 when he joined the Rockets last season. He posted career-highs there, averaging a career-best 11.5 points per game in the 2010-11 season and 11 PPG in the 2009-10 season.

I feel as if the Bucks will pay a reasonable amount for Delfino. Should he come off the bench behind Mayo, the scoring would only improve the Bucks second unit. Seeing what Delfino has done in the past with the Bucks, he should have no problem putting up scoring coming off the bench.
