Eagles News: Chip Kelly Names Michael Vick As Starting QB

Chip Kelly’s experiment worked.

He tested and pushed Michael Vick with threats of competition from Nick Foles; and in the end, Vick responded.

Kelly confirmed that Vick will be the starting quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles for Week 1 of the regular season on Twitter:

This marks the third consecutive season that Vick will start for the Eagles in Week 1. He will make his 104th career start against the Washington Redskins on opening night, as he still looks to prove himself:
