After 20 seasons in the NHL, there was a possibility that the league’s lockout-shortened season in 2013 would be the end of legendary Teemu Selanne’s journey in the world of hockey.
However, on Friday, we found out from the Anaheim Ducks on if that was true or not.
Here's what they posted, via YouTube:
And with that, there will be a 21st season for Teemu, but it will also mark his final season.
Teemu Selanne says it will be his last season. He deserves the Mariano Rivera treatment.

Playing for the original Winnipeg Jets, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche and back to the Ducks, Selanne has amassed 675 goals (11th all-time), 755 assists (40th all-time), and 1430 points total (15th all-time).
