Michael Vick persevered, as he won over head coach Chip Kelly to get the Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback job over Nick Foles.
Vick's teammates thinks it shows what type of leader the veteran quarterback is.
Running back LeSean McCoy and wide receiver DeSean Jackson reportedly stated Vick winning the job shows his true leadership.

“I think I proved I could be consistent every day and be a leader on this team,” Vick said. “I’m going to take the same approach, the same mindset. I know how hard I worked over the last four months. It would be a shame if I let up. It would be selfish, to myself and my teammates."
We'll see how Vick truly performs once Week 1 of the regular season approaches, as the Eagles take on Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins. Many Eagles fans are hoping Vick can return to his 2010 form.
