The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that Georgia Tech guard Chris Bolden was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with DUI.
Bolden, a 20-year-old sophomore, also was charged with purchase or possession of alcohol by a minor, speeding and improper lane change, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office online docket.
According to the docket, Bolden was booked into the Gwinnett County jail at 6 a.m. Saturday and released early Saturday afternoon. Reached Sunday afternoon, a school spokesman said that the team is aware of the situation and gathering facts but had no comment.
Bolden started 14 games as a freshman, and averaged 7.3 points per game in nearly 24 minutes of action.
