The summer of 2011 for LeBron James might have been the worst of his life, as the then-26-year-old lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals, choking in almost every fourth quarter situation.
That Finals series displayed all the weaknesses of James' game, and the Mavericks displayed all of them and showed that LBJ may not actually be the best player in the NBA.
That summer, James worked on his post game and fundamentals, and he ended up taking home the 2012 NBA Finals trophy in a five-game series victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The next year, James worked on his midrange jumper, which helped him cook the San Antonio Spurs away last June.
Video footage has now been released from James' workouts with Hakeem Olajuwon in 2011, and it's pretty cool stuff.
Take a look:
It's no wonder why many other NBA players are looking to work with The Dream now, as he helped James work on and perfect his craft. Guys like Amar'e Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony and Andre Drummond all are jumping on the Hakeem bandwagon now.
We'll see this season if these players can get the profit on the basketball court like LeBron James did.
