Geno Smith has his offensive coordinator in his corner, and that just might help him win the NeW York Jets starting quarterback position by default.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg prefers Geno Smith over Mark Sanchez as the starting quarterback.
Mornhinweg reportedly is a big fan of Smith’s potential and believes he’s the better option, whether Sanchez is healthy or not.
Rex Ryan told the media on Friday that “he will listen to different voices in the organization before deciding on his starter.”
