JR Smith signed a four-year, $24 million deal to return to the New York Knicks this offseason.
The New York Post learned today that Smith has started to spend some of that money.
According to the paper, Smith pulled up to a restaurant in Manhattan yesterday in a $450,000 Gurkha F5, an armored truck usually used by the military.
Here's the truck, pictured below:
As deduced by The Big Lead, JR must have been watching Fast Five recently, because it is the same vehicle Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson used in the movie.
JR Smith may not be ready for the start of the NBA season, but he sure is ready for a drive.
