Maryland Terrapins running back Wes Brown may now be clear of the law after having all charges dropped for an incident with police in early July, but he’s still in hot water with the university.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Brown has agreed to being suspended from the University of Maryland for an entire year rather than face a university hearing.
Brown will enroll in community college during the meantime.
Brown was the second-leading rusher on the Terps last season, finishing with 90 carries for 382 yards and two touchdowns.
