Kobe Bryant was a young star coming out of the NBA in 1996, and quickly made himself known with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Nickelodeon's All That took notice and brought Bryant onto the show as a guest for a segment that starred Amanda Bynes and -- well, I have no idea who that other girl is.
With myself being 16 years old right now, I can remember looking back and watching great re-runs of All That back in the day, as well as The Amanda Show. Looking at Amanda Bynes now, it's a much different story, clearly.
Below is an episode of a younger Black Mamba with a much, much younger Amanda Bynes on All That. It was the 19th episode of the series' fourth season, which aired on November 14, 1998.
Mostly, the episode is pretty awkward, yet really hilarious. These girls are just really clamoring for Bryant. Along with that, Kobe just sounds so different back then.
As the segment goes on, Bynes goes ahead and spills iced tea on Kobe, trying to make him take his shirt off and put on a much smaller one. In the end, Bryant gets locked up in a cage. Yeah, that's really weird and awkward.
But then again, like I said earlier, it's hilarious looking back at this now when you think about how both Bryant and Bynes ended up like today.
Take a look:
What do you think of this segment from All That?
