It took new Tennessee Titans safety Bernard Pollard less than five minutes to make his presence known in the preseason, and it also took him less than five minutes to draw his first fine.

Early in the first quarter of Thursday night’s game, Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins hit receiver Aldrick Robinson for a 15-yard gain along the sideline.

Bernard Pollard closed on Robinson fast, and lowered the boom, drilling Robinson in the back just as he was stepping out-of-bounds.
Pollard, of course, was flagged for unnecessary roughness and the Titans were penalized 15 yards.

Pollard didn’t need to hit Robinson, but wanted to make his presence known, and was just Bernard being Bernard Pollard.
