Some NFL general managers and executives can’t forget the bridges you’ve burned.

Even after looking like he had made strides and turned the corner, Vince Young was released today by the Green Bay Packers as NFL teams make their roster cut down to 53 players.

Young took to Twitter to thank the organization for giving him an opportunity:
It appears that the Packers will go with just two quarterbacks, with B.J. Coleman backing up Aaron Rodgers. When Graham Harrell was released last week, many thought Young had won the backup job in Green Bay.

Just like Tim Tebow, it will be interesting to see where Young goes from here. Kudos to him for getting that degree at Texas, though, this year.
