Thursday night embarks another start to another NFL season.
Last year, we saw many surprises, such as the rise of read-option quarterbacks like Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick. We also saw disappointments, such as teams like the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, both teams who failed to make it to the Super Bowl despite many teams predicting them to be there.
The Baltimore Ravens ended up taking home the 2013 title, but it will be very hard for them to repeat. Who will win the 2014 Super Bowl when the NFL plays in New York, which would be the championship's first snow game.
Here is my 2013 NFL preview and predictions for FootBasket.com, which is filled with plenty of surprises.
1. Seattle Seahawks (13-3)

Super Bowl
Peyton Manning eyes his second ring while Tony Gonzalez appears in his very first Super Bowl as Broncos and Falcons face off. I think the Broncos will run away with this one.
Prediction: Broncos win, 34-17
What do you think of these predictions? Yes, a lot of them are surprising, but the same happened last year as well with my bold guesses, as I picked the Baltimore Ravens to win the Super Bowl.
Who do you have winning?
