When most NBA players need help with their post game, legendary center Hakeem Olajuwon is the go-to man to learn from.
The Houston Rockets Hall-of-Fame center has helped a ton of players in the past few years, such as Amar'e Stoudemire, LeBron James, JaVale McGee, Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard.
Olajuwon spoke with Nice Kicks recently, and says he wants to help other NBA players.
Olajuwon says someone like Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant could benefit from his teachings; however, the person he says who would benefit the most would be Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin.
“I don’t know that I would like to, but a player that needs [my help] is Blake Griffin. If you look at Blake, he’s very explosive, but he needs the moves that can get him in that position where he can finish. [...] So he would be an ideal guy to where, when I watch him play and I see how explosive he is, I’d give him all of these moves to take him to a whole different level.”
Griffin has been criticized for having a limited post game. Though he still routinely averages a 20-10, many point that his skills are still very limited to just dunking and layups.
Olajuwon can definitely help Griffin excel. It's only a matter of if Griffin ever wants to learn, which he should.
