Practice started over at PCOM on Saturday morning, and we can expect a lot of perimeter-oriented play for the first few weeks. According to multiple reports, the 76ers only have one healthy body in the post.
“That’s the situation we’re in,” Sixers center Spencer Hawks told USA Today. “We’ve got to do everything we can to kind of make do until those guys get back, but I guess it means more opportunities [for me].”
Rookie Nerlens Noel, of course, is rehabbing from ACL surgery. Forward Arnett Moultrie will be out two months after ankle surgery. Kwame Brown and Lavoy Allen are both nursing hamstring issues.
It's going to be a long season in the City of Brotherly Love in 2013-14.
