Dallas Cowboys Rumors: Team To Be $31 Million Over Cap In 2014

No wonder Jerry Jones is so hellbent on having this 2013 Dallas Cowboys team win a Super Bowl. He might have to blow the whole thing up this offseason.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Cowboys could be $31 million over the salary cap next season.

Dallas now projected to be NFL-high $31 million over salary cap next year. One NFL exec called Dallas' cap situation in 2014 "a train wreck"

The Cowboys reworked the deals of linebacker DeMarcus Ware, tight end Jason Witten, wide receiver Miles Austin, cornerbacks Brandon Carr and Orlando Scandrick, center Ryan Cook, right tackle Doug Free, defensive tackle Jay Ratliff and guards Mackenzy Bernadeau and Nate Livings last offseason, so we can expect some of the same in a few months.
