Santonio Holmes Injury: Jets WR Out With Hamstring Injury

The New York Jets just got a little thinner at the wide receiver position. Brian Costello of the New York Post is reporting that the Jets have signed veteran wide receiver David Nelson after it was learned that Santonio Holmes will be out a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

Holmes leads all Jets receivers with 10 catches for 243 yards and one touchdown. He will be a major loss for quarterback Geno Smith and the Jets passing attack.
