Kevin Durant Says Fiancée Monica Wright Is Better Than Him, Has More Rings

Oklahoma Thunder star Kevin Durant is living his own real life version of Love and Basketball. Durant and Minnesota Lynx guard Monica Wright are currently engaged.

Wright and the Lynx just won their second WNBA championship in three years. Wright played 24 minutes in the clincher and scored nine points. The question was posed to Durant on Twitter about Wright now having the most rings in the family.

Durant, who is chasing his first ring, agreed and even paid his sweetheart the ultimate compliment.

"I was proud of how she helped her team win a championship. It was kind of tears of joy," Durant told The Oklahoman's Darnell Mayberry. "I'm glad she's my future wife. She's got more championships than I do."
