The Pittsburgh Steelers will have to blow everything up and start over at some point. However, the question is whether quarterback Ben Roethlisberger be around for the rebuild?
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that the Steelers brass fully expect Roelisberger to ask the organization to explore trade possibilities on his behalf once the 2013 season comes to an end.

#Steelers sources expect Big Ben to ask them to explore trade options after 2013. They fielded offers for him last offseason. Could again

Another issue for Big Ben: Looming contract situation. 2 years left, small salary, big cap number. Some doubts he can get paid in Pittsburgh

I think if the Steelers are as bad as their record indicates, then it probably is time to move on. Roethlisberger could get a high value pick to go with the one they’ll already have.Where could Roethlisberger land? All eyes point to #Cardinals, as @MikeSilver said. Bruce Arians and Big Ben, together? Could happen.
