Down by 7 points with 4 seconds left on the clock, Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed a miraculous Hail Mary pass to AJ Green to send the game to overtime. In OT, the Bengals received but were stopped on a 4th-and-2 conversion on the Baltimore Ravens side of the field. QB Joe Flacco methodically led his team down field, which set up a 46-yard game winning field goal for Justin Tucker.

It wasn’t pretty, but the New York Giants won their third straight game, improving the team’s record to 3-6 on the year. The Giants defense forced three turnovers, and rookie defensive end DaMontre Moore blocked a punt that Cooper Taylor returned for a touchdown.

This was never even really a game. The Seattle Seahawks pounced on the Atlanta Falcons early and often, and imposed their will on both sides of the ball. Russell Wilson threw for two touchdowns in the win, and Seattle rushed for 211 yards as a team.

Brandon Marshall may have outplayed Calvin Johnson today, but it is the Detroit Lions that now sit alone atop the NFC North division. Matt Stafford threw for three touchdowns in the win, and Jay Cutler injured his ankle and was forced to leave the game early. Chicago scored a touchdown to cut the lead to two with under a minute remaining, but failed to convert the two-point conversion that would have tied the game.

The Green Bay Packers just can’t catch a break right now. The Packers have had an injury-riddled season, and it continued today when Seneca Wallace went down in the first quarter with a groin injury, forcing Scott Tolzien into the game. If you’re wondering who Scott Tolzien is, so is the rest of the country. Eagles QB Nick Foles continued his solid play, throwing three more touchdowns on a turnover-free afternoon.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will not go 0-16 this year. Jacksonville was able to pick up its first win of the season today by beating up on the injury-riddled Tennessee Titans. Jacksonville only gained 216 yards of total offense today, but a Will Blackmon fumble recovery touchdown late in the fourth quarter sealed the win. Titans QB Jake Locker went down with an injury in the first half, and may miss the rest of the season.

St. Louis Rams rookie wide receiver Tavon Austin had himself a game today. The rookie from West Virginia scored three touchdowns — a 98-yard punt return TD, a 57-yard TD reception and an 81-yard TD reception — leading the charge for St. Louis. The Indianapolis Colts just didn’t have it today. Andrew Luck threw three interceptions, and the Colts only managed to gain 18 yards on the ground.

This was an ugly game, but the Pittsburgh Steelers outplayed the Buffalo Bills today en route to a 13-point victory. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger connected with Jerricho Cotchery for a score in the second quarter, and Le’Veon Bell scored a four-yard rushing touchdown in the third to seal the deal.

The Carolina Panthers defense is legit. The Panthers held the San Francisco 49ers to only 151 total yards today, and they sacked quarterback Colin Kaepernick five times. DeAngelo Williams’ 27-yard rushing touchdown was the only touchdown of the game. QB Cam Newton played just good enough to put his team in a position to win, and for the first time in a long time, the Panthers are back in the conversation for the best team in the NFC. Carolina has now won five consecutive games.

This was actually one of the more exciting games of the weekend. In a back-and-forth game, the Arizona Cardinals were able to make one more big play down the stretch and improved to 4-1 at home on the season. Carson Palmer threw for two scores in the win, while Case Keenum threw three touchdowns for the Houston Texans in the loss.

The San Diego Chargers executed their gameplan to perfection, winning the time of possession battle by nearly 16 minutes. However, they still couldn’t beat the Denver Broncos. Peyton Manning led Denver on a few quick touchdown drives, including a 85-yard, three-play drive to open up the game. Demaryius Thomas hauled in three of Manning’s four touchdown passes on the day.
