Usain-Bolt-November-2013
Usain Bolt has been no stranger to McDonald's and their famous Chicken McNuggets in the past, so it was no surprise to hear this story about the world's fastest man during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

According to Bolt in his new book "Faster Than Lightning", he claims to have eaten 1,000 Chicken McNuggets during the 2008 Olympics. Bolt claims in the book that he thought Chinese food was "odd" to him, so he ate McDonald's for all of his 10 days in Beijing, according to Bleacher Report.

“Man, I should have gotten a gold medal for all that chowing down,” Bolt writes in the book.

He definitely should have. Bolt says he probably ate 100 McNuggets per 24 hours, which leads to his 1,000 estimate. Bolt says his meals always consisted McNuggets, whether it was a box of 20 with them or even multiple boxes per meal.

I don't even want to begin thinking about how many calories Bolt consumed in that time, as one McNuggets equals about 50 calories. However, that didn't stop Bolt from performing well on the track, as he earned three gold medals, along with breaking a world record.

Usain Bolt, folks: the man, the myth, the legend.
