For this week’s Throwback Thursday, we’re going back into the archives to find clips from when the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks were actually relevant in the NBA playoff picture. It’s amazing how quickly two teams could drop from NBA title contenders to one of the league's worst teams.
But it wasn’t all bad for these two teams.
Last year, Carmelo Anthony nailed a 3-pointer in overtime to beat the Chicago Bulls, and Joe Johnson hit the game-tying shot and game winning shot in overtime to beat the Milwaukee Bucks.

Talk about a Throwback Thursday. These team’s aren’t what they were a year ago, and tonight’s TNT matchup between these two could get ugly.
