NFL Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders had a popular line with Nike, such as his famous Diamond Turf sneakers.
It's amazing how many Diamond Turf sneakers have released in the past few years, and it looks like Sanders may have been racking up the cash while that was happening. Wrong.
Sanders is pretty pissed at Nike, as he claims he isn't "getting a dime" from the swoosh company. Sanders now rocks with Under Armour, but is wondering why he doesn't receive royalties since he basically designed the sneaker.
Here's what he said in his
sit-down interview with Complex:
Nike has done this with several other sneaker lines, as it looks like Penny Hardaway also may not even be getting royalties either from his sneakers like the Nike Air Foamposite.
Interesting stance from Nike. We just have to wonder why they are doing it, or how they are being able to do this.
