Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, as only he can, wrote a very startling piece about New York Knicks shooting guard JR Smith. In fact, it was another "Woj bomb."It seemed as if Woj put on his headphones, played Tupac's "Hit Em Up" and began writing this major diss piece about Smith. It went from calling Smith a "fool" and "stupid" to "he's a soft, spoiled suburban jump-shooter."
But one thing that made the whole story was the fact that Smith once received a room service bill of more than $3,000! According to Woj, it was because Smith kept ordering food "just to see if they would keep bringing it to the room."
Perhaps his greatest excess of idiocy had been a weekend of running a room service bill into the proximity of $3,000, a source with direct knowledge told Yahoo Sports. He kept ordering food, stacking piles of trays upon trays – "just to see if they would keep bringing it to the room," the source said.
Honestly, it isn't too surprising. You would expect something like this from a guy like JR Smith. I mean, the dude already has accumulated more than $100,000 in fines in just the past year, whether it was his crazy Twitter antics or untying someone's shoe.
Now, Smith is sitting on the bench. And actually, it helped the Knicks as they were able to upset the Miami Heat last night.
We are all just going to have to see how this debacle is going to end.
